Mission Statement
Meet the founder
As a board certified nurse practitioner, Cara has made it her mission to become a safe and highly skilled aesthetic provider. She graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s School of Nursing with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and started her nursing career as a Mental Health/Psych RN at Queen’s Medical Center. She then worked in med/surge and then transitioned to work as a Labor & Delivery RN at Kapiolani Medical Center. After 7 years of bedside experience, she pursued graduate studies to become a Family Nurse Practitioner because she valued building rapport and continuity of care as a health care provider. While working on her graduate degree, she started a family and got married, then left bedside nursing to focus full-time on school and taking care of her infant son. Pursuing aesthetics was something Cara has always wanted to do and once she passed boards, she took every opportunity she could to immerse herself and learn about the community and pursue her passion.
Cara got married in June 2022, but because she was breastfeeding at the time, she was limited in the types of aesthetic treatments she could receive. Although she still felt beautiful on her wedding day, there were a few minor aesthetic things she wished she could have had addressed. To ensure that future brides and grooms on Oahu would have the opportunity and accessibility to look and feel their best on their wedding day, she created Nursethetics Wellness and Beauty to bring medspa in-office aesthetic treatments to them via mobile services! Through her experience in various areas of nursing, she understands the importance of providing exceptional services in an environment patients feel most safe and comfortable.
